The team
Richard Foot FCA – Senior Partner
Richard, son of the founding partner, trained in London, qualifying in 1974 and came to Foot Davson in 1979 after working in chartered accountancy practices in Sevenoaks and London. Richard specialises in personal and trust taxation, including estates. His attention to detail and good advice has benefited many clients over the years.
Richard is married, with three adult children and two grandchildren and lives in Tunbridge Wells. He is a member of St. Matthews Church, High Brooms, where he plays the clarinet in a music group and takes sundry other parts in church activities. He enjoys walking, classical music, photography and jogging.

Tina Clay FCA CTA – Partner
Tina qualified in 1982 and had a variety of experience of both “Big Four” and smaller chartered accountancy firms before joining Foot Davson in 1993. Tina leads our services provided to businesses and charities. As well as being a chartered accountant, she is also a chartered tax adviser and thus specialises in all round business and tax services including audit.
Tina is married with two almost grown up children and lives in Southborough. She is a licenced Reader at St Thomas’ Church there, and a trustee of the Forget Me Not Children’s Trust. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the keyboard, reading, photography and painting.

Craig Powell ACCA – Audit and Accounts Manager
Craig qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2007, having trained and worked in public practice for over ten years, advising owner-managed clients from various business sectors with turnovers up to £25m. As well as working in the accountancy profession he has hands-on experience in the construction industry.
At Foot Davson Craig manages the audit and accounts department, with additional responsibility for IT to which he brings his extensive knowledge and practical experience.
Away from work Craig can be found mountain biking, fishing and surfing!

Richard Turnbull ACA – Audit and Accounts Manager
Richard chose a career in Accountancy following the successful completion of his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey, joining a 3 partner firm in south London on a Chartered Accountant training contract in 2001. He quickly progressed through the firm, gaining invaluable practical experience of a range of businesses from sole traders to £60m turnover limited companies. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005 he moved on to a West End London firm specializing in Media and Entertainment clients, joining as a PA to Partner and later becoming Audit Manager.
Richard joined Foot Davson in September 2008 and has been involved in the full range of clients we have, including partnerships, limited companies, charities and trusts.
Richard is a keen supporter of Chelsea football club and is a regular attendee at Stamford Bridge. He also enjoys motor racing and has completed the London and New York Marathons in the last two years.

Michelle Clarke – Personal Tax Assistant
Michelle joined Foot Davson in 2000 bringing with her many years of experience in personal tax within public practice. She specialises in preparing self assessment tax returns for individuals, including dealing with capital gains issues.
Michelle is married with one son. She enjoys being involved with the scouting movement, reading and gardening.

Anne Burleton – Office Manager
Anne has been with Foot Davson for more years than she is prepared to admit to, and is a key member of the team supporting our services to clients, including maintaining our records regarding time spent and fees, and issuing invoices and statements.
In any time that she has left after caring for her two sons, she enjoys piano playing and is active at Pembury Baptist Church.
